NOCEN PROVOST HOSTS COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Provost of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN), Prof. Victor Ifeanyi Obiora Ndirika, hosted the Executive Members of the NOCEN Alumni Association, led by its National President, Prince Emeka Oramadike, on Tuesday, 9 June 2026.

In his address, Prof. Ndirika stated that the meeting was aimed at strengthening the institutional partnership with the Alumni Association towards the development and advancement of the College. He emphasized that alumni associations are the backbone of every educational institution worldwide, noting that their support, experience, and commitment remain invaluable assets to institutional growth.

Responding on behalf of the Association, Prince Emeka Oramadike formally congratulated the Provost on his appointment and assured him of the Association’s readiness to align with the Management’s strategic vision and consolidated action plan. He stated that the Association is committed to implementing impactful and result-oriented initiatives that will contribute meaningfully to the progress of the College.

He further noted that NOCEN remains the bedrock of their educational success and professional accomplishments. Prince Emeka Oramadike also commended the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for his numerous infrastructural interventions in the College.

The Legal Adviser of the Association, Ozo Barr. Nnadiume Awforkansi, in his remarks, pledged the Association’s maximum support to the College administration. He stressed that the Alumni Association remains committed to constructive engagement, unity, and peaceful collaboration among stakeholders while operating strictly within the provisions of its Constitution to ensure transparency, accountability, and structured participation.

The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the *Alumni Muffler* and Working Constitution documents to the Provost.

In his vote of thanks, the Acting Bursar of the College, Mr. Toney Aniebo, expressed profound gratitude to the President of the Alumni Association and his Executive members for their visit, support, and commitment to the growth and development of the institution.

The meeting formed part of the Provost’s vision of fostering stronger engagement with key stakeholders and reinforcing his commitment to the continuous growth, progress, and transformation of the College.
