Rev. Gabriel Ihunanya Okechukwu, formerly known as Gabriel Onyiaene, hails from Umuaga in Ụdị Local Government Area of Enugu state. Born on October 5, 1978, he is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Emmanuel Onyiaene.
His educational journey began at Community Primary School Opi Uno, Nsukka in 1991, where he completed his primary education. Later, he attended Community Secondary School Ogbodu-Aba, Udenu, graduating in 2001. Pursuing higher education, Gabriel enrolled at Paul University Awka, where he earned an Undergraduate degree with First Class honors in Religious Studies in 2016.
Driven by his passion for knowledge, he pursued a Master’s degree at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, and successfully completed it in 2020. Currently, he is a PhD student at Paul University Awka while also serving as a Lecturer at the same institution.
Throughout his academic career, Rev. Gabriel Ihunanya Okechukwu has held various esteemed positions at Paul University Awka, including Director of General Studies and Sub-Dean of Students Affairs, demonstrating his commitment to education and student development. His dedication to his field of expertise and continuous pursuit of knowledge make him a valuable asset to the academic community.
