GOVERNOR SOLUDO OPENS UP ON EMOTIONAL PUBLIC TEARS DURING ANAMBRA VISIT
Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State recently broke down in tears during a visit to the Enugu Ukwu and Aguleri communities in Anambra East Local Government Area — a moment that has captured nationwide attention.
The governor’s emotions were stirred by the harsh reality he encountered: roads so dilapidated that what should have been a short journey stretched to nearly one and a half hours, and communities lacking even the most basic necessities like healthcare and electricity.
“Seeing people live under such conditions… it struck me deeply,” Soludo confessed, his voice heavy with emotion.
For Soludo, the tears were not a sign of weakness but a reflection of his commitment to the people. They highlighted the urgent need for development and a wake-up call for authorities and stakeholders to act decisively.
“This is about human dignity, about giving our citizens a life they deserve,” he added. The governor vowed to prioritize infrastructural improvements and essential services in these neglected communities, signaling a renewed drive to transform the lives of residents in Anambra East.
