PUBLIC OUTCRY AS TEACHER ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTS PUPIL IN ENUGU SCHOOL

A viral video has sparked outrage in Enugu State after a female teacher was accused of brutally assaulting a young pupil at a private school in the Abakpa Nike area.

In the footage, the victim’s mother can be seen lamenting her child’s condition, showing bruises and welts allegedly caused by the teacher’s beating.

She claimed the punishment was so severe that her daughter could barely walk afterward.

Witnesses said the incident occurred during school hours after a minor disciplinary issue. The teacher’s actions have drawn sharp criticism from parents, human rights advocates, and members of the public, who have described the act as cruel and unacceptable.
