NGIGE DISOWNS POSTER FEATURING HIM WITH ANAMBRA APC CANDIDATES

Former Anambra State governor, Senator Chris Ngige, has distanced himself from a campaign poster pairing his image with APC governorship candidate Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and running mate Senator Uche Ekwunife.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Hyggy Obialo, and personally endorsed by Ngige, he clarified that neither permission nor approval was granted for the use of his photograph.

The statement stressed that Ngige is currently on a political break and has no affiliation with any candidate.

“Our principal’s attention was drawn to an online poster featuring his image with the APC ticket holders,” the release noted. “We urge those responsible to respect his stance of staying out of partisan politics for now.”
