A political party has raised critical questions about the authenticity of Senator Uche Ekwunife’s academic qualifications, citing the presentation of a certificate allegedly obtained from a non-existent university.

“If Senator Uche Ekwunife truly holds the minimum academic qualification required for the position she seeks, then why would she, under oath, submit a certificate from an institution that has been proven to be fake?” the party questioned.

The statement further pressed, “Does she actually possess a genuine first degree? If she does, why has it not been presented for scrutiny? The failure to do so only fuels suspicions that the said degree might also be questionable.”

Emphasizing the gravity of the issue, the party called for Ekwunife to be made a test case for others allegedly parading fake academic credentials.

According to them, “Turning a blind eye to this dangerous trend would further degrade a system that is already grappling with integrity challenges.”

They concluded by urging relevant authorities to act swiftly, warning that unchecked certificate forgery could set a damaging precedent and erode public trust in educational and political institutions.
