The funds will support more than 170,000 households and 30,000+ children across nine high-risk states, delivering emergency supplies, therapeutic feeding, and nutritional support .
This initiative complements existing efforts by nigeria’s national malnutrition control program and seeks to bridge key gaps in food security, especially in areas destabilized by conflict, displacement, and disrupted livelihoods .
Eu officials emphasize that improved child nutrition fosters long-term health, educational performance, and community resilience, making this phase a cornerstone of broader recovery strategies.
