NDDC ADVISER KIDNAPPED IN BAYELSA STATE

A shocking kidnapping incident has shaken the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) with the abduction of Mr. Akari Loveday, Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs to the Managing Director. The incident occurred on Friday during a trip to Ayakoro community in Ogbia Local Government Area, the hometown of NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.

DARING ABDUCTION CAUGHT ON BY EYEWITNESSES

Eyewitnesses recounted a daring abduction, where the kidnappers intercepted the boat carrying Loveday, transferred him to their own vessel, and attempted to escape. However, their plan was foiled when the engine stalled, forcing them to paddle ashore and flee into the bush with their captive.

SECURITY AGENTS LAUNCH RESCUE OPERATION

Security agents, including police officers, have initiated a search operation to rescue Loveday and apprehend the kidnappers. Although the Bayelsa State Police Command has yet to confirm the incident, spokesman Mr. Musa Mohammed acknowledged being unaware of the development.
