The FCCPC claims that MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, Toriola, Tobechukwu Okigbo, and Ikenna Ikeme failed to comply with a lawful summons, contrary to the FCCPC Act. The commission is determined to hold the telecom giant accountable for its actions.

A COURT DATE LOOMS
The suspects will appear before Justice H.J. Yilwa of the Federal High Court in Abuja, with the case adjourned until May 28. The two-count charge was filed on July 22, 2024, by a legal team led by Akoji Achimugu.
