MOHBAD’S SPOUSE SPEAKS OUT: “JUSTICE HAS NOT BEEN RENDERED”

.

The better half of late vocalist Mohbad, Wunmi Aloba, has expressed her indignation and discontent over the Lagos State Magistrate Court’s ruling to exonerate Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy of allegations encompassing her husband’s demise.

.

A HASTY VERDICT?

Wunmi contended that the court’s ruling was precipitous, as the Coroner Inquest into Mohbad’s demise has not yet concluded. The next hearing is slated for February 28. She questioned the logic behind delivering a judgment before the inquest is complete. “How can they deliver judgment when the coroner inquest is still ongoing?” she queried.

.

A CASE OF INJUSTICE?

The court’s ruling has sparked disparate reactions from the public, with some expressing relief over the exoneration of Naira Marley and others voicing concerns about the thoroughness of the investigation. Wunmi’s words echo the sentiments of many who feel that justice has not been served. “I’m not satisfied with the judgment,” she said. “I want retribution for my husband.”

.

TWO OTHERS TO FACE PROSECUTION

Meanwhile, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad before his demise, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and one of the late singer’s acquaintances, Ayobami Sadiq, will face prosecution for reckless and negligent acts. The trial is expected to take place at the Magistrate Court.

.

THE PURSUIT OF JUSTICE CONTINUES

Wunmi’s determination to seek justice for her husband is unwavering. Despite the setback, she remains committed to ensuring that those responsible for Mohbad’s demise are held accountable. The pursuit of justice continues, and Wunmi’s voice will not be silenced.
