KADUNA TRAIN ATTACK: COMMUTERS DEMAND TIGHTER SECURITY AFTER FRESH INCIDENT

Barely two years after the deadly Abuja-Kaduna train attack, passengers have once again raised concerns over safety following a fresh security breach along the rail corridor. Reports indicate that suspected bandits attempted to attack a moving train but were repelled by security forces.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has assured the public that measures are in place to prevent further incidents. Kaduna State Government has also deployed additional security personnel along the rail tracks.

Many commuters, however, remain fearful and are calling for more advanced surveillance, such as drone monitoring and increased military patrols. Some have even suggested suspending train operations until security is fully restored.
