If it is not pure honey, it will not give you the benefits of honey. These are some of the ways you will know pure honey:

*1. The Fire Test:* Pure honey burns like oil. Dip a clean dry stick in the honey and try lighting it. If it burns with a flame, the honey is pure.
*2. The Water Test:* Pure honey is very thick (about 15% water). If you drop some pure honey into a glass of water, it will be difficult to dissolve.
*3. The Paper Test:* Pure honey is ‘dry’. Due to its very low water content, it will not wet a paper. Drop some honey on a piece of paper and remove it. The paper will not be stained.

Source your honey from highly reputable outlets or persons. Ask a lot of questions.
