ABARIBE SAYS TINUBU’S ADMINISTRATION IS MORE NEPOTISTIC THAN PREVIOUS GOVERNMENTS
Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has expressed his disappointment with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, citing nepotism as a major concern. Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today,’ Abaribe stated that Peter Obi would have been a better president, as he would not have been as nepotistic as the current administration.
TINUBU’S ADMINISTRATION ACCUSED OF NEPOTISM
Abaribe pointed out that President Tinubu has appointed four ministers from Ogun State alone, while many other states have only one minister. He described this as a clear example of nepotism, which he believes has deepened under President Tinubu’s administration.
A CALL TO ACTION FOR THE SOUTH-EAST REGION
Abaribe emphasized that the people of the south-east region should take charge of their own development, rather than waiting for presidents to be fair to them. He stated that the region has been neglected for too long and that it is time for the people to take matters into their own hands.
SIMON EKPA’S ARREST: A WELCOME DEVELOPMENT
Abaribe also welcomed the arrest of Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed prime minister of Biafra in Finland. He described Ekpa’s actions as antithetical to the values of the Igbo people and stated that his arrest would help to curb violence in the south-east region.
A PATH TO PEACE IN THE SOUTH-EAST REGION
Abaribe believes that the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is key to ending the violence in the south-east region. He emphasized that the Igbo people have always condemned violence and advocated for a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
