COULD THERE BE MORE TO NGELALE’S FAMILY’S HEALTH BATTLE ?

Ngelale’s predecessor as the President’s official spokesperson, Femi Adesina, served eight full years.

Reuben Abati, who held that job before Adesina, served four years in office, therefore several people were astonished when Ngelale stood down in just over a year.

Ngelale’s announcement stated that his indefinite leave of absence was due to “medical matters presently affecting my immediate, nuclear family”.

It is easy to deduce that Ngelale was deep in his own struggle, based on what Abati wrote immediately after Jonathan was overthrown by the ocean of change.

In an article titled “The Spiritual Side of Aso Rock,” Abati described several enigmatic events that occurred in the executive branch. “I have heard some people adamant that the nation’s seat of government is run by witchcraft of some kind.

Although I don’t usually believe in superstitions, working at the Villa made me finally come to believe that power and proximity to it must have some sort of magical quality.

I’ll begin with a first-hand account.

“Within the Villa, I was given an apartment to live in. It was equipped and furnished. However, one of my brothers brought a pastor who was meant to reside in the flat when my kid Michael arrived.

However, the man declined, saying that there were evil spirits in the Villa and that there would shortly be a fire in the flat. He cautioned that my family should never spend the night at the villa and bemoaned the excessive amount of human sacrifice surrounding it.

“I felt that the man was uttering absurdities and that his desire was for the opulence of a hotel room. But as it happened, he was correct. There was a fire incident on the day I had family friends stay the night in that flat. With much gratitude, the guests made their way out. “The President’s doctor, who lived two compounds away, experienced a fire in his house not long after. It could have killed him and his kids. Scratches marked his exit. Whenever I was at the Villa, someone was always dying or someone’s relative was dying.

“I can vouch for the fact that every principal officer experienced some sort of sorrow; it was as though giving up something in order to continue working in that setting.

I hate to tell you that several of the males complained about something that had died below their waists, and some of the ladies even turned into dildo traders after experiencing a certain kind of death in their houses. Those who were not unfortunate enough to suffer from one illness or another.

The Villa was a hospital full with suffering patients, from cancer to brain and prostate operations and all in between.

It’s tempting to presume from Abati’s story that Ngelale has suffered a similar fate.
