THE PRICE OF NIGERIAN PASSPORT FEES HAS BEEN INCREASED -FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

With effect from September 1st, 2024, the Federal Government has formally announced an increase in passport prices for Nigerian citizens living in the nation.

This choice is a component of the government’s larger initiatives to preserve and improve the Nigerian Standard Passport’s quality and integrity, guaranteeing that it satisfies international requirements and keeps Nigerian residents’ use of it as a reliable form of identity.

The new passport booklet pricing will result in a considerable increase in the price.

More specifically, the cost of a 32-page passport booklet valid for five years would now cost N50,000 instead of N35,000.

Similarly, a 64-page passport booklet valid for ten years would now cost N100,000 instead of the previous N70,000.
