NIGERIA LOOSES A LEGENDARY ARTISTE, ONYEKA ONWENU.

Tuesday night saw the tragic death of Onyeka Onwenu, the renowned singer and composer from Nigeria, not long after she had performed at a birthday celebration in Lagos.

The music virtuoso, dubbed the “Elegant Stallion,” unexpectedly passed away at Reddington Hospital in Lagos after passing out at a private event, according to reports.

Onwenu took the stage to perform while she was at a friend’s birthday celebration, according to family-friendly sources.

After her performance, she went back to her seat and abruptly sagged.

After an immediate contact to emergency services, she was taken to a hospital on Victoria Island, where she was subsequently declared deceased. It is unknown what caused the death.

It is quite depressing, the person who spoke under anonymity stated.

After her performance at Emzor Pharmaceuticals’ Mrs. Stella Okoli’s birthday party this evening, Onyeka Onwenu collapsed.

After being brought to Reddington Hospital, she was unable to arrive.
