AUGUST 1ST PROTEST; MINISTERS IN A CLOSED DOOR MEETING

The entire group of more than forty ministers in the president’s cabinet attended the closed-door meeting.

Nyesom Wike (FCT), Yusuf Tuggar (Foreign Affairs), Zephaniah Jisalo (Special Duties), Tahir Mamman (Education), and Abubakar Bagudu (Budget and Planning) were among the ministers sighted.

Others are, among others, David Umahi (Works), Bello Matawalle (Defence), Wale Edun (Finance), and Mohammed Idris (Information).

The secret conference between ministers and the secretary to the government of the federation has now concluded.

Following the meeting, Nigerians were urged by Information Minister Idris to grant the administration further time to tackle the nation’s economic problems.

Idris told the youth that the government has been working with all parties involved to find a solution that works best for the nation, thus there was no need for the scheduled protest.
