The National Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has revoked Heritage Bank’s Operation Licence
The CBN said the activity became vital because of the bank’s break of Segment 12 (1) of the Banks and Other Monetary Demonstration BOFIA, 2020.

CBN’s representative, Hakama Ali, in an explanation on Monday, said the withdrawal of the bank’s functional permit is as per the pinnacle bank’s command to advance sound monetary framework in Nigeria, and in exercise of its powers under Segment 12 of the Banks and Other Monetary Demonstration (BOFIA) 2020.
It noticed that the CBN had drawn in with the bank and endorsed different administrative advances planned to stem the decay.
