“What’s going on here today is the last phase of the choice interaction for the honor of the 2024 Abroad Grant to qualified Nigerians. This exercise isn’t simply held in Abuja. We have focuses in the six international zones the nation over.
“We have a middle for the South in the College of Port Harcourt; for the South-West, the College of Ibadan; for the South-East, the College of Nigeria Enugu Grounds; and the North-West, we utilize the School of Petrol and Energy Concentrates in Kaduna.

She said, “Our objective is to choose the best for the abroad grant. PTDF is an organization of the Central Government that is accused of the obligation of building limit with regards to the oil and gas industry.
“The motivation behind this is for the indigenization of the Nigerian oil and gas area. So the objective is to give the open door to Nigerians to obtain the information, abilities, and capabilities required for the oil and gas area.
“On the objective number to be chosen, I can’t let you know that at the present time, however everything I can say to you is that each condition of the country will get equivalent numbers in light of our financial plan for the year. So I can’t let you know the number per state until further notice, since it depends on the spending plan we have for the year.”

On whether the abroad grant was not piece of capital flight, and why the members were not prepared in Nigeria, the PTDF official said, “The justification for this is on the grounds that we found that the oil and gas industry is a cutting edge area with elevated degree of gear.
“A portion of this gear isn’t promptly accessible in Nigeria. So the justification for why we train individuals abroad is to have the option to have active on this gear and the necessary innovation for the business, which isn’t promptly accessible in Nigeria.
“Furthermore, let me rapidly add that part from the abroad grant, we likewise have the in-country grant by which Nigerians are prepared inside Nigeria. So there are a few colleges in Nigeria that PTDF has updated their offices to some even out and we accomplice them to run these stages of preparation.”
Agboola said the abroad grant would be held in different colleges in the Unified Realm, France, Germany, and Malaysia.
