The United Kingdom has pronounced a minimum of 17years jail term with maybe parole on Mr Olubunmi Abodunde, who Murdered his wife, Taiwo in the UK.

According to the victim’s lawer, Mr Abodunde cruelly smashed his wife’s head with a skateboard which caused a damaging brain injuries and finally led to her passing.

The court discovered that the couple had engaged in multiple domestic arguments on bills and payments.

According to the court, Mr Abodunde was once arrested and warned to restrain from seeing his late Wife under bail terms.

On the day of the attack, Abodunde violated the bail terms and returned back to the house to collect his mobile phone. And him being aware of his wife’s work shift, he waited for her to arrive home .

The two corps who went to their house to question them on their recent domestic fights reported that the security camera recorded the wife arriving home by 9:20.

And from that moment, they kept knocking and ordering them to unlock the door but there was no response or help call despite the blows!

They said that they counted up to 40 to 50 blows. And at that instant; they got the order to force themselves into the house and there laid a lifeless Taiwo with smashed bleeding skull.

The policemen explained that their confrontation lasted for 25 minutes and there were skull debris at the incident scene .

The Autopsy revealed that Mr Abodunde didn’t only smash the wife’s skull with a skateboard however he stamped and equally strangled Mrs Taiwo

The unremorseful sobbing Abodunde defined his action as self defence, claiming that the late Wife violently advanced to him with a knife. He also blamed his action on medications.

Abodunde’s lawer noted that the 48 year old defendant is a well known and reverend personality in UK and Nigerian and a street has been named after Abodunde back in Nigeria.

Court described Taiwo’s killing as violent, ruthless heartless and savage.
