The Executive Chairman of the National Institution for Cultural Orientation (NICO ) announced that the Federal Government has developed a Nigerian Academy for Cultural Studies. (NACUS)

Biodun Ajibola on his statement on Monday, disclosed that the Institution will be specialised in training individuals to innovate and develop the Nigerian Culture as well as History.

(NACUS) was then the training academy for (NICO ), however it has been approved by the National Board to a fully functioning Technical Education . Says the Executive Chairman.

Furthermore, he mentioned that NACUS has the qualifications to participate in the National Diploma program for the award of National Diploma in Cultural Administration and Management. And with it’s collaboration with the Nasarawa State University, they would obtain their postgraduate diploma programme.

Mr Adeboye praised and applauded President Tinubu for working his words, and also thanked FG for seeing the importance to introduce a proper cultural curriculum in all levels of Nigerian Education.

He added that the programme will replace all the foreign cultural mindsets that Nigerians have acquired all these years , thereby presenting our Cultural identity.

The qualifications and collaborations has made it possible to certify any body that obtained the postgraduate Diploma and Master’s Degree Programmes.

He said that the certificates of the graduates are qualified for any civil service. The Institution will station four Campuses in North, East, FCT and South.
