Meghan Markel, (THE DUCHESS OF SUSSEX) has revealed how humbled she is to be relatively; Nigerian.

She broke the amazing news on her second day of she and her husband’s (PRINCE HARRY,DUKE OF SUSSEX) invictus programme visit.

In her words,””In 2022, It was discovered through a DNA test that I am 43% Nigerian; and it is revelatory to be able to discover my heritage; therefore,I acknowledge Nigeria as my country.

Meghan attended the West African Nation Saturday; where she met with the Head of World Trade Organisation (WTO) and a former Nigerian Financial Minister;Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

In the event,Meghan,Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and other women Leaders discussed how relevant it is to mentor upcoming Nigerian women on how to navigate the obstacles that deprive them of their chances to acquire top political positions in Nigeria.

The DUCHESS made some complimentary remarks to the Women by saying “”When I disclosed to people that I am partially Nigerian; they told me that it is not really shocking to hear such. That they have known Nigerian women to be brave,courageous,beautiful and resilient, which is applicable to every one of you””.

Meghan was given two Nigerian names from the Women.”IFEOMA” which means a cherished thing in Igbo and “OMOWALE” which means the child is home in Yoruba.
