The peoples Redemption Party and some Northern Leaders have cautioned the Federal Government’s move to site US and FRENCH military base in Nigeria. The presence of US and FRENCH Military could oppose a dire effects on Nigeria’s economic growth, security stability, Diplomatic relationships,environmental safety,Indepence and overall safety of Nigeria or Nigerians laments the PRP’s National Publicity Secretary Muhammed Ishaq.

Economical wise, Mr Ishaq explained how economically draining hosting US and FRENCH Military will be for Nigeria as a economically unstable Country. He also pointed out that the presence of Foreign Military in Nigeria calls for diversion of funds that are provided for developments, Infrastructures, stabilisation and wellbeing of Nigerians which may linger to create the worst Nigeria.

More so, he mentioned the Diplomatic consequences of having Foreign Military base in the country, asserting that it will create Diplomatic friction between Nigeria and other French-African Countries. He withheld no statement; as he went on noting that US and FRANCE carried out both human and non-human operations in the Sahel Regions in the name of Military Operations.

Looking at the Indepence consequences, he mentioned that this so called Military Collaboration could make Nigeria to be solely dependent on Foreign aids, making Nigeria not to be self-dependence.

In his words, he said that hosting Foreign Military in Nigeria would degrade our environment due to deforestation, pollution and Water contamination that the Military activities would inspire which posses a treat to the wellbeing of Nigerians.

Furthermore, he emphasised on the local security impact of this operation by saying that the Foreigners do not know much about our landscaping which may distabilise the local security and stability and even accelerating the cost of local foods as well.

Inspite of all the ongoing controversial conversations happening across Nigeria concerning the so called Foreign Military Operations; Federal Government has debunked the allegations, moreover claiming that they do not intend to host neither US nor FRENCH Military in Nigeria.
