VISA® CARB & CHOKE CLEANER (450ml) is a high-performance solvent engineered to restore engine efficiency by rapidly dissolving the stubborn deposits that hinder performance.

This professional-grade formula is specifically designed to penetrate and break down heavy gum, varnish, carbon, and sludge that accumulate on carburetors and choke valves over time. By clearing these obstructions, it ensures a smoother fuel-to-air ratio, which is essential for maintaining a steady idle and preventing engine stalling or surging.

Beyond its cleaning power, this spray is an essential tool for improving overall vehicle drivability and fuel economy. Its precision delivery system allows you to target internal components, linkages, and manifold heat controls without the need for a complete engine teardown. Regular use helps to eliminate hard starting and hesitation, protecting the delicate moving parts of the fuel system from friction and premature wear.

Safety and versatility are at the core of its design, making it suitable for a wide range of gasoline engines, including those in cars, trucks, lawnmowers, and marine equipment. The 450ml pressurized canister provides ample volume for multiple applications, ensuring that your equipment remains responsive and powerful. Whether you are performing routine maintenance or troubleshooting a rough-running engine, this cleaner delivers a fast-acting solution that leaves components spotless and ready for peak operation.

PRODUCT INGREDIENTS

The formula for VISA® CARB & CHOKE CLEANER (450ml) is a potent blend of industrial-strength solvents and surfactants designed to chemically decompose organic deposits. While specific proprietary ratios are kept confidential to protect the manufacturer’s formulation, the product primarily consists of the following active chemical agents:

Toluene and Xylene
These aromatic hydrocarbons serve as the primary heavy-duty solvents. They are highly effective at penetrating and liquefying dense layers of dried varnish and oxidized fuel resins that build up on carburetor surfaces.

Acetone and Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK)
These oxygenated solvents provide the “flash” cleaning power of the spray. They rapidly dissolve carbon deposits and gums on contact, ensuring that the residue can be easily flushed away. Their high volatility also ensures that the cleaner evaporates quickly, leaving no oily film behind that could attract further dust or debris.

Methanol or Isopropyl Alcohol
These components act as drying agents and help in managing any moisture or water contamination within the fuel system components during the cleaning process.

Aliphatic Hydrocarbons
These serve as the base carrier fluids, helping to balance the formula and ensure a consistent spray pattern. They assist in lubricating the metal linkages briefly during the cleaning cycle to prevent immediate binding.

Carbon Dioxide (CO_2) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)
These are utilized as the aerosol propellants. They provide the high-pressure delivery necessary to mechanically “blast” loosened contaminants out of narrow orifices, jets, and hard-to-reach passages within the carburetor assembly.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

For Carburetor and Linkage Cleaning

1. Prepare the Engine: Turn off the engine and allow it to cool slightly, though the exterior can be warm to the touch. Remove the air cleaner/filter assembly to expose the carburetor.

2. Clean the Exterior: Spray the exterior of the carburetor and all moving linkages thoroughly. This removes dirt and grease that could interfere with the mechanical movement.

3. Target the Linkage: Spray specifically on the shafts and move the linkage by hand to ensure the solvent penetrates and restores free movement to any sticking parts.

For Internal Component and Choke Cleaning
1. Clean the Choke: With the engine off, spray both ends of the choke valve shaft while manually opening and closing the choke.

2. Internal Deep Clean: Start the engine. While the engine is idling, spray small, short bursts into the carburetor throat (vortex). You will notice the engine RPM fluctuate; this is normal as the solvent cleans the intake valves and combustion chamber.

3. Clear the Orifices: For stubborn deposits, spray directly into the vacuum tubes and float chamber vents.

Final Steps
1. Flush the System: Once cleaning is complete, stop the engine and give the throat one final spray to flush out any remaining loosened debris.

2. Reassemble: Replace the air filter and housing.

3. Test Drive: Restart the engine and let it run for a few minutes or take a short drive to ensure all residual solvent has been cycled through the system and the idle has stabilized.

Caution: Avoid spraying on electronic sensors, electrical connections, or painted surfaces, as the high-strength solvents may cause damage to plastic or automotive finishes.
