Instructions for Use (Step-by-Step)
1. Surface Preparation:Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil or grease.Thoroughly clean both target surfaces. Remove dust, grease, rust, or existing old adhesive using an industrial degreaser or alcohol wash. Sand smooth or polished surfaces slightly with fine sandpaper to create a mechanical anchor profile.
2. Adhesive Application:Apply a thin, uniform coat to both bonding surfaces.Squeeze a small amount of AZIK BOND onto both surfaces to be joined. Spread evenly using a brush, scraper, or spatula to form a smooth, consistent layer.
3. Tack-Off Time (Evaporation Phase):Allow solvents to flash off before joining.Let the applied coat dry for 10 to 15 minutes (depending on ambient temperature and humidity) until the adhesive feels tacky to the touch but does not transfer to your finger.
4. Assembly & Firm Pressure:Apply strong, immediate compression.Align the components accurately, as initial contact forms a strong immediate bond. Press both surfaces firmly together. Apply heavy hand pressure or use a roller/clamp across the entire bonded area for 30–60 seconds to ensure total surface contact.
5. Curing & Final Strength

Initial handling strength is achieved instantly. Allow 24 hours for full cure and maximum shear strength before subjecting the joint to heavy load or high stress.
