Ven. Innocent Chukwudozie Mekaowulu was born on 25th March to the family of Sir Christopher and Lady Fidelia Mekaowulu of Umuru kindred of Akala-etiti village Umuoji in Idemili North L.G. A. Anambra state Nigeria.
Ven Inno attended Aguma primary school Umuoji from 1980-1986 . Boys’ High school Umuoji from 1986-1992 for his post primary studies. St. Paul’s University College Awka ( now Paul University Awka) for his ordination and tertiary studies from 1997-2001.
Ordained deacon by Bishop Okpala (now Archbishop) on July 1st 2001. Ordained priest on July 8th 2002. Prefered Canon on 4th June 2012. Canon Administrator on 3rd June 2013. Pioneer Archdeacon Ichi Archdeaconry on 12th December 2013, all by Rt. Revd. Prof. G.I.N. Okpala.
Ven Inno served in many churches from 1995- date.
Ven Inno was married to Mrs Chinyere Gloria Mekaowulu (Nee Dike) and their union was blessed with four godly children -Chukwujioke, Adachukwu, Kosisochukwu, Chukwuemerie.
