Mount Zion Anglican Church Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi was established in August, 2010, as an extension of Holy Trinity Church Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi. The Church has since been growing steadily in both physical infrastructure and spiritual well-being, the glory of God.
The Church is located along Oba-Nnewi-Okigwe Road in Akaboukwu Community Uruagu Nnewi. It holds two services every Sunday, with other special activities within the week and at other specific times.
The dedication of the church building, parish inauguration, and institution and induction of the pioneer vicar Revd Canon Chibuzo Odunukwe, held on April 24, 2022, presided over by the Bishop, Diocese of Nnewi. The Rt. Rev’d Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi.
