1987 – ORAL MANUFACTURING
Juhel Nigeria Limited was commissioned as the first pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the old Anambra State, Nigeria, by the then Governor, Col. Robert Akonobi. Starting with a modest range of products, the company steadily expanded its operations, reaching an employment peak of over 500 staff members during its early years.

1995 – FIRST PETROL STATION
In 1995, Juhel ventured into non-pharmaceutical operations, establishing its first petroleum filling station in Port Harcourt. This initiative laid the foundation for Juhel Petroleum, which grew into a network of filling stations across Southeastern Nigeria.

2001 – NEW HEADQUARTERS & ORAL EXPANSION
To accommodate rapid growth, Juhel relocated to its current headquarters in Emene, Enugu State, in 2001. The expansion supported a broader product range and increased operational capacity, boosting staff strength to 1,800 employees.

2002 – VASOPRIN INTRODUCED
Juhel expanded its product portfolio, launching antibiotic capsules, syrups, and Vasoprin, further solidifying its position in the pharmaceutical industry.

2004 – IVY WATER INTRODUCED
Building on its headquarters’ expansion, Juhel ventured into water and beverage manufacturing, introducing its premium-quality Ivy water.

2010 – PARENTERAL MANUFACTURING**
In a landmark achievement, Juhel commissioned the largest Parenteral Drug Manufacturing Plant in West Africa. Inaugurated by then-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on October 15, 2010, the plant addressed Nigeria’s reliance on imported parenteral drugs, producing high-quality intravenous medicines, as well as ear and eye drops locally.

2018 – OXYTOCIN INTRODUCED
Juhel continued to innovate, adding Oxytocin to its growing portfolio of critical medical products.

2021 – IVY WATER FACTORY EXPANSION
In response to growing customer demand, Juhel completed the expansion of its Ivy water manufacturing facility, reaffirming its commitment to delivering quality beverages.
