Lawreta Ijeoma Abugu is an academic staff of the department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, UNN. She holds a PhD in Public Health Education with research interests in infectious disease control and maternal and child health. Lawreta is also a professional Nurse/Midwife registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She has attended many scientific conferences with paper presentations. She has also published more than 20 research articles in both local and international peer reviewed journals. Her hobbies include giving health talks, reading and meditation. She is married with children.
