The church was founded in 2009 as a daughter church of St. Christopher’s Anglican Church, Ndiakwu Otolo. The pioneering leadership included Pastor Ikechukwu Mgbeahuruike, who served as the first Church Teacher, and Reverend Sampson Eze, who was appointed as the first Vicar.

Through the dedicated support and generous contributions of Sir and Lady Chris Atuegwu, the church experienced significant development and was successfully built to its permanent and present structure. The Vicarage, conveniently attached to the main church building, further enhances the functionality and unity of the church complex.

Currently, the church is under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Canon Daniel Oguezue, who serves as the Vicar. He is married to Engineer Chidinma Oguezue, who also serves faithfully as the head of the Women’s Ministry. The church’s lay leadership includes Mr. Nnaemeka Chukwuka as the Pastor’s Warden, Mr. Charles Onyiba as the People’s Warden, and Mr. Chukwuka Osigwe as the Church Secretary, among other committed members.
