Dr. Ifeanyi G Eke hails from Isuochi in Umunneochi LGA Abia State. Had his primary education at Nnobi Street Primary School, Uwani Enugu (1985-1990) and secondary education at Maryland Boys Secondary School Enugu (1991-1996). He obtained the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, with distinctions in Veterinary pharmacology, parasitology and pathology from University of Nigeria Nsukka (1998-2004). National youth service was at the FCT Police command and the Ecological Funds Office Abuja (2005-2006). He ventured into private practice where he founded First Union Farms Isuochi, which is a broiler production and processing facility in 2007 and in 2009. He also established Dynasty Veterinary Centre in Enugu. In August 2011, Dr Eke took up appointment as a lecturer II in the Department of Veterinary physiology and Pharmacology UNN. He obtained a masters degree in veterinary pharmacology UNN with GPA of 4.67 in 2012. He is currently a PhD student in veterinary pharmacology and has published scholarly articles in several rated international journals
