With total submission to the will of Almighty God, we the entire family of Late Mr. Sampson (Anwatu) Ifechukwu of Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria, Cordially invites you to the Burial / Funeral CEREMONY of our Beloved Brother, Uncle, Husband, Father and Grand Father.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF LATE REV. APOSTLE JOHN NDUBUISI IFECHUKWU

Late Rev. Apostle John Ndubuisi Ifechukwu was born in 1966 into the family of Late Mr. and Mrs. Sampson (Anwatu) Ifechukwu of Umuanuka, Otolo Nnewi, in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He began his education at Ebonato Central School, Eziogwugwu Otolo Nnewi, and later proceeded to Nnewi High School, Nnewi. After his formal education, he enrolled in the prestigious AUNN (Automobile University of Nkwo Nnewi), through the mentorship of Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, whom he served faithfully as an apprentice for six years. Upon completing his apprenticeship, he was honorably settled by his master, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma (Gabros).

Apostle John was diligent and hardworking in his business, and God blessed the work of his hands.

In 1995, he married his amiable wife, Mrs. Chioma Ifechukwu, and their union was blessed with seven wonderful children—two boys and five girls.

As time went on, he received a divine call to serve in God’s vineyard. He was a visionary leader, a passionate preacher of the Gospel, and a dedicated servant of God whose life and ministry impacted countless souls. He received his ministerial training at the Way of the Cross Bible School, where he was spiritually equipped for the great task of shepherding God’s people. Upon graduation, he was ordained into ministry by Rev. Tony Okeke, who recognized the divine calling and grace upon his life.

With unwavering faith and a burning vision, Apostle John—together with his beloved wife, a gifted prophetess—laid the foundation of what would later grow into a great ministry. What began as a humble fellowship gathering eventually blossomed into a full-fledged church: Divine Charis Bible Mission.

Under his leadership, the church expanded beyond Nnewi to cities such as Awka, Lagos, and Asaba. As the General Overseer, Apostle John embodied the heart of a true shepherd. He led with wisdom, humility, and deep spiritual insight—always pointing souls to Christ and nurturing them in sound doctrine.

His ability to combine vision with action made him more than a preacher—he was a builder of people, families, and communities. In addition to his ministry, Apostle John was an active and respected member of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (Otolo Chapter), where he served faithfully as one of its prominent leaders. His contributions to the Pentecostal movement in Nigeria remain a powerful testament to his commitment to unity and the advancement of the Gospel.

Though richly blessed with seven children, Apostle John’s fatherly love extended beyond his biological family. He adopted and raised two sons as his own—demonstrating the very essence of his calling: a man whose life was marked by service, compassion, and sacrifice.

Indeed, Apostle John lived and labored as a true servant of God—a man who carried the vision of the Kingdom, built a ministry from the ground up with his beloved wife, and inspired generations through his leadership and example.

His legacy continues to live on through his family, the Divine Charis Bible Mission, and the countless lives he touched through his ministry.
