Ike Ernest Onyishi holds a doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology. He is currently a professor of organizational psychology and Head, Department of Psychology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He was also an Acting Directors, Centre for Policy and Research, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has over twenty years experience in research, teaching and consultancy in organizational behaviour, human resource development, change management, conflict resolution, empowerment, health and well-being, and project development and evaluation. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow/Professor. He spent two years (2017 and 2018) at the Institute of Organizational and Business Psychology, University of Meunster, Germany as a Research Fellow/Professor. He has also visited many leading universities in the world as a vsiting scholar/fellow. In the past ten years, he has collaborated with over 100 scholars in more than fifty countries in many successful research projects. He has published over 100 papers in the areas of organizational behaviour and other social issues, Some of his papers have appeared in reputable journals including highly-ranked journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Communications, Scientific Reports. Ike Onyishi is a fellow of the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA) He is also a member of many other professional associations including Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, USA (SIOP), African Education Research Network (AERN), and African-German Network of Excellence in Science (AGNES). He serves as a reviewer/editor of many international and reputable journals. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Industrial and Organizational Behaviour in Africa and the Nigerian Journal of Psychological Research.
