3. PROPOSED TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE AND WORKFLOW
1. Branded Departmental Report Templates: We will design publication-grade, standardized report templates for Microbiology, Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Parasitology, Serology/Immunology, Hormone Assays, GeneXpert Tuberculosis, and General Laboratory Reports. Each layout includes LONA branding, patient demographics, accession numbers, specimen details, reference ranges, auto-flagged badges (High, Low, Critical), doctor signatures, tracking barcodes, and QR verification codes.
2. Staff LIS Web Portal: A role-based internal web portal tailored for lab operations. Front desk staff can quickly register patients, issue invoices, print receipts, and generate accession barcodes. Technicians access specialized entry forms built with age/gender-sensitive auto-flagging logic to eliminate human error during result input.
3. Chief Lab Scientist Executive Dashboard: A centralized mission-control interface allowing the Chief Lab Scientist to monitor active lab workloads, review sample Turnaround Times (TAT), inspect auto-flagged critical results, and apply encrypted digital sign-offs. The dashboard includes immutable audit logs that record every staff action, timestamp, IP address, and result edit to prevent unauthorized modifications.
