Greetings Provost/Prof/Engr/Sir,
We sincerely hope you are hale and hearty.
We recently heard of the new feather you have added to the cap of your office, and we could not let the moment pass without extending our heartfelt congratulations to you.
On behalf of the entire Vicilook Team, we say a very big CONGRATULATIONS, Sir!
The introduction of the Bulletin publication is a remarkable addition to the institution’s approach to disseminating information, activities, achievements, and important developments across the institution. It is also a thoughtful way of ensuring that students, staff, and the wider community are carried along.
We dare to believe that this may very well be the first of its kind among Colleges of Education in the country, and we are particularly delighted to see such an innovative initiative taking shape under your leadership.
In fact, we have already made plans to develop an app version of the Bulletin in the future, which would make it even easier for students, staff, visitors, and other members of the institution’s community to access its contents conveniently.
To us, initiatives such as this are a testament to the many progressive ideas and plans you have for the School—plans aimed at fostering innovation, introducing new possibilities, and driving progress in both width and breadth.
Nonetheless Sir, while using this medium to celebrate you, we also wish to respectfully bring to your attention a matter concerning the sustainability of the Vicilook services currently subscribed to by the School.
We have, to this point, continued to sustain and extend the services despite the outstanding subscription payments. We deliberately held on because of the tremendous traffic generated by students’ activities, the growing participation of teaching staff uploading their academic works and updating their profiles, and, importantly, as an appreciative gesture for the warm reception and support your administration has given to Vicilook.
However, as we both know, no matter how beautiful, useful, or sophisticated a machine may be, it still requires fuel to function and regular maintenance to remain fit for service and extend its lifespan.
At this point, we are concerned that we may no longer be able to guarantee uninterrupted sustainability of all the School’s Vicilook services beyond Tuesday next week. We have decided to push through one more week, relying on the very few remaining drops of fuel in the engine, in the hope that the necessary arrangements can be made before then.
We fully understand that you have a lot on your desk, particularly as you settle into your new role. This understanding is one of the reasons we have, in the past, undertaken various supportive measures, including forgiving the previous outstanding debt and granting an additional three months of service extension.
We remain genuinely committed to the School and to the vision of making Vicilook a useful technological partner in the advancement of NOCEN.
There are, in fact, many more innovative and novel products and solutions we have planned for the School, and we remain proud to be of service and to contribute meaningfully towards your vision for a greater NOCEN.
However, even the strongest tractor cannot move much farther when its fuel gauge is already approaching empty.
We therefore look forward to a positive response from your office, and we remain excited about the possibility of unveiling even more useful innovations through your office in support of a brighter, smarter, and more beautiful future for the institution.
Once again, CONGRATULATIONS, SIR!
Please accept this little token from us. It is simply our modest way of saying a very big CONGRATULATIONS and celebrating this new chapter with you.
Thank you, Sir, and remain richly blessed.
We remain,
Your one true ally, faithfully.
