Bishop Uzodike Memorial Seminary (BUMSEM) Nnewi,Anambra State is founded in the year-1999.We nurture boys morally, academically, socially, and psychologically.Our moral principles are exceptional.We have produced giants who fit perfectly in the global world.
Presently, our teachers work tirelessly to ensure that every child in our hands becomes not just an academic star but ,a moral giant.
Moreover, we take the students on special excursions/ tourism. Regular Christian discipleship programmes are being held for both students and members of staff. Furthermore,we have well equipped ICT, Physics,Chemistry, Biology,BasicTechnology, Technical Drawing and Mathematics laboratories.Our digital library is of good standard.
There are standard sporting and comfortable modern boarding facilities too.Our students do engage in quiz,debate and other competitions at different levels and come back home with diverse trophies Our name rings bell in sports.We have won outstanding gold medals and unique awards in sporting activities.
The quality of the teaching and learning in BUMSEM prepares our boys for excellent results in BECE, SSCE,UTME and different international exams .
BUMSEM runs close form Teacher and parent/guardian relationship for proper
feedback on the formation of our boys. The teachers and non-tutorial members of staff are spirit filled men and women of good repute.
Our PTA meeting is a family gathering for the generation of ideas and fervent prayers for all the stake holders and our seeds(children).

Meeting the Principal of our School.
GUIDING PRINCIPLE AND CONDUCT FOR OUR STUDENTS
1. School Authority: Every student in this school is under the authority of the principal, members of the staff, all prefects or students elected to the position of authority.
2. Morning assembly: It is mandatory that every student should be at the assembly ground or hall before 7:30am. Lateness to or dodging the morning assembly is a serious offense.
3. You are expected to behave in an orderly manner in your classes. Noisy play or shouting in or around the vicinity of the classroom is strictly forbidden.
4. You must take permission from the class prefect and obtain exit card before leaving the class. Any student seen outside without exit card will be strictly punished.
5. Any student who feels maltreated by a member of staff should report the case to either the principal or vice principal or Guidance counselor.
6. You must finish all your duties (morning duties) before assembly, failure to do so attracts punishment.
7. You shall greet every adult any time any place as a mark of respect (in our manner ie bowing no bo with hand on the chest).
8. You shall not disturb after lights out but shalllie on your bed immediately after lights out warning bell is rung.
9. Any student(s) coming to chapel by 5:15am in the morning for devotion is deemed to be late and shall be punished.
10. You shall be at the chapel for Sunday matins and for Holy Communion before 8:20am. Late coming to the chapel is prohibited.
11. You shall put on the correct uniform at all time with badge and flat black sandal or Cortina. The shirt must be tucked in.
12. You shall dress properly after school with correct uniform (day wear) and pams (black) not bathroom slippers and with badge.
13. You shall write your name boldly on any of your belongings (clothes school uniforms, day wears, outing uniforms, sandals, inner wears or panties, buckets, box, keg of water, belt, pam) etc. If any of your belongings is found lying carelessly you will be punished.
14. The seminary does not permit coloured
singlet but only white singlet.
15. Use of coloured cardigan during school hours (8am-2:30pm) is not allowed. Every student is expected to wear the school cardigan during classes.
16. No student should loiter about in or outside the classes during school hours or after lights out. It is highly prohibited.
17. You shall not fight, beat up or hit another student.
18. You shall not steal but must report every robbery suspect otherwise you become an accomplice.
19. You must not engage in any immoral act or association, if caught you shall be expelled.
20. You shall not lend or borrow money/provisions from another student.
