BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF THE CELEBRANT
Mrs. Ezeokoli Ogechukwu Helen was born on January 2, 1978, in the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Mmadu of Otolo Village, Nnewi. She is the fourth child and the second daughter in a family of seven.
Ogechukwu was raised and born in Otolo, Nnewi. She had her primary school and went to an Anglican girl’s secondary school for her secondary education. After that, she furthered her education at Ulithi Polytechnic, Anambra, where she met her darling husband, chief Mr. Ezeokoli Christian (EBUBE-NNANKA), and went back to school to get her diploma at IMT Enugu. During that time, her love for her and her husband chief, Mr. Ezeokoli Christian (EBUBE-NNANKA), blossomed, and they tied the knot in 2004. They had their first daughter, KOSISOCHUKWU. After 4 years, they became a family of 5 with the addition of a son (IFECHUKWU) and a daughter (CHIDIUTO).
In the year 2006, she opened a clothing store, which is commonly known as a boutique, to support her family. It was going well, but due to her love for children and education, she always feels like something is missing. In the beginning of the year 2010, she went back to school to get her NCE certificate and opened her school, Ebony Kids International School, in September 2010. It all started at a rented bungalow with not less than 20 students, from pre-nursery to primary, and was later approved by the government. In 2013, the school moved to its permanent site, where the secondary foundation was developed, which has its own boarding facilities. It wasn’t an easy road, but a very rocky path. There was a lot of temptation and trouble that came with it, but God always won.
13 years later, during the beginning of the COVID pandemic, God blessed the family with a set of twins (Chi Zaram and Chechukwu), which made the family of five a family of seven.
Mrs. Ogechukwu is a wonderful wife to her husband and a lovely mother to her children and everyone around her. She always looks out for other people rather than her own. She is a philanthropist in her own way, always helping the needy and also giving free education to people who can’t afford it. As much as she is amazing, she is also a disciplinarian. During her days in secondary school, she was a disciplined prefect. She is strict and doesn’t take nonsense, which is also for your own good.
